We provide a safe and efficient, new choice for neuropathy sufferers. Our neuropathy solution includes 4 restorative treatments that improve blood flow, heal nerves, and gets nutrients to the damaged areas in your body. The Hicksville Podiatry SMART Neuropathy Program’s initial phase requires a series of 12 sessions, 2 to 3 times per week over the course of 4 to 6 weeks, which will provide pain relief. Combining Four Treatments for Neuropathy
Our proprietary and comprehensive treatment program utilizes up to four different treatment methods and is unlike any treatment program you may have already experienced.
Laser Therapy
One of the treatment technologies we use to increase blood flow and repair the nerve is our new advanced laser therapy. Laser therapy helps by stimulating vasoendothelial growth factor (VEGF), which signals angiogenesis. Angiogenesis is the formation of new blood vessels, which are needed to repair nerve damage. This increases blood flow to the nerves and blood vessels grow back around the peripheral nerves and provide them with the proper nutrients to heal and repair. This laser treatment has at least 25 published studies with over 80% success rate with peripheral neuropathy.
Laser light energy penetrates the skin and stimulates increased oxygen on a cellular level. This increase in microcirculation around the nerve has been shown to help regenerate fibers and help heal peripheral nerves. This FDA-approved laser therapy is painless and has been proven to decrease neuropathy, decrease inflammation, and help in the healing of nerve regeneration.
